Dr. Richard A. Meserve currently serves as Senior Of Counsel with the law firm of Covington & Burling, LLP, and has been a member of the TAE Technologies Board of Directors since 2012. He is a President Emeritus of the Carnegie Institution for Science, having served as President from 2003 to 2014. He also currently serves as a board member of Duke Energy and Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Under Presidents Clinton and Bush, he served as Chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Prior to his service with the NRC, Dr. Meserve was a partner at Covington & Burling LLP.
Dr. Meserve holds a Ph.D. from Stanford in applied physics and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
