Future Work
• Constrain diagnostic sensitivity to fast ion orbit types:
• Map orbit types to FIDASIM outputs more quantitatively
• Complete additional MC simulations of NPA signals to determine orbit mapping feasibility
• Test sensitivity of other diagnostics to orbit types – netutrons, pyrobolometers, etc.
• Conduct experimental campaign using forward-modeled signals to determine fast ion population “orbital state”
