Executive Summary
C-2W is a beam-driven, sustained field-reversed configuration that allows systematic transport studies
Doppler Backscattering confirms strong ExB shear in the FRC core and across the FRC boundary, and shear decorrelation of turbulence
Toroidal wavenumber spectra show suppressed ion modes and dominant electron modes in the FRC core
§ Qualitatively in agreement with gyrokinetic global simulations
§ Comparisons with C-2W kinetic turbulence simulations are underway
Cross-polarization scattering is presently tested as a diagnostic
for magnetic fluctuations (Bperp) with encouraging first results
§ Important for benchmarking gyrokinetic/kinetic EM simulations
