Density Fluctuations are Reduced Substantially inside Rs
Weak ion-scale core modes are observed in the FRC core: Gyrokinetic Simulations find ion-scale stability* (but weak turbulence spreading from the SOL)**
- due to FLR effects (large ion orbits)
- short connection length/favorable grad-B
