§ Understand anomalous losses/transport fluxes due to turbulence:
- Determine ñ(k), B(k); turbulence wave- number spectra (n=10-500) in FRC core and SOL
§ Independently measure E✕B velocity and E✕B shear based on turbulence advection: - Localized measurement (does not rely
on impurity ion velocity/pressure gradient measurements).
§ Validate Gyrokinetic transport simulations: - Determine role of turbulence in mirror SOL plasma and in the FRC core; EM effects?
