Applying this method to experimental data requires stringent shot similarity conditions
• Experimental ensemble within parameters is small, with only ~10 shots available
• This is within the requirements set out by synthetic ensemble testing
• Use the same method as in the synthetic ensemble – vary 𝐵()*, then add all shots to a single ensemble
• Fit appears to properly exclude the “obvious” outliers, in a similar way to synthetic calibration
• Assuming red aggregate fit is the true source distribution, we can calculate calibration factors as before
