FRC can recover from initial displacement
Interesting shot where FRC began displaced from the axis(a).
• Combined effect of the neutral beams and end- biasing re-centered FRC within about 1 ms (b-d).
• Vertical displacement of the emission centroid (e) shows FRC recovered after being displaced about 10 cm from the axis.
• Oscillations in emission centroid consistent with azimuthal n=1 wobble mode identified from HOSVD analysis of Mirnov probe signals.
