• Axial profile of excluded-flux radius (𝑟∆Φ) calculated from magnetic probes overplotted with dashed lines and estimated X-point locations.
• 650 nm O4+ emissivity (r, z) reconstruction shows large axial emission gradient near estimated x-point locations.
• Clearer indication of FRC geometry compared to excluded flux which is affected by plasma pressure in SOL.
