2025 US-Japan FRC Workshop

FRC Workshop Overview
This workshop has developed from discussions on the high-beta characteristics of FRC (Field-Reversed Configuration) research, which has been pioneered by both Japan and the United States. This year’s workshop is co-hosted by TAE and UCI. A satellite workshop of APS-DPP 2025, the aim is to discuss the role of ions with large orbits in magnetically confined plasmas across magnetic confinement systems.
