October 2014 | L. Schmitz | APS-DPP | Poster
Electron-scale turbulence has been observed in the C-2 FRC multi-channel Doppler Backscattering.
August 2014 | L. Schmitz | Review of Scientific Instruments | Paper
A versatile heterodyne Doppler Backscattering (DBS) system is used to measure density fluctuation levels (in the wavenumber range kρs ≤ 50), and the toroidal E × B flow velocity in the C-2 Field-Reversed Configuration (FRC).
June 2014 | L. Schmitz | HTPD | Poster
At higher toroidal wave number, the density level fluctuation decreases exponentially. Fluctuation levels are very low in FRC core.
November 2012 | M. Thompson | APS-DPP | Poster
The C-2 experiment [1] seeks to study the properties of field-reversed configuration (FRC) plasmas with significant super-thermal ion populations generated by neutral beam injection.
